Galleri, by GRAIL, is a multi-cancer early detection blood test. It looks for DNA signals shed by cancer cells and, if a signal is found, predicts where in the body it may come from.
What to know about Galleri:
- One blood draw – screens for a signal shared by many cancer types
- Adds to routine screening – it does not replace colonoscopy, PSA or other recommended tests
- Follow-up – a positive result requires further diagnostic testing
It is intended for adults with elevated cancer risk, such as those aged 50 or older.
